It was four years already since I bought this domain. Beside of Pergh.com – my very own first domain I ever had , this is the second one. It was personal and written in Bahasa Malaysia plus ‘Manglish’* before. However for year 2009, this website going global!

By the way, all my previous blog content’s migrated into a new domain, NizamAhamad.com (Bahasa Malaysia). This web (mysticdreamwork) is now  focusing to new direction yeah!

Regarding the ‘unavailability’ for months

This domain registered by a friend of mine with a China based company before (everyone was looking cheapest price right?). The problem first came from my friend, he was so hard to be contact (M.I.A).  After that, I had another problem with the domain transfer process.

As we knew, before a domain can be transfer it must be in unlock condition. Then I requested my friend to unlock the domain and I need the Auth Code (transfer code) too. Two or three days later, I do the domain transfer request at Namecheap.com since I already had an account there. Normally it took about 5 working days to be done.

Suddenly, unexpected thing happened! My transfer request was rejected because the domain was locked. What the…?  After whois-ing the domain, I’m sure  stated there that the domain is locked. I refer to my friend and asking him, why the domain is still locked? I thought it should be unlocked already.

After few ‘so-called-investigation’, it was the previous registrar  (China company) system was Auto-lock the domain after 3 day if there’s no domain transfer request. Complicated huh? I think, the domain was unlocked on Thursday. I request the domain transfer in Friday, working day is over already. So on Monday it is already over 3 day due… After that, I’m doing second try to transfer the domain.

Guess what? I had another problem with the second try! The domain transfer process is done, but it was transferred to Namecheap itself! Not under my account, hahaha… Don’t ask me why, I have no answer for that.

So I contacted their online live support (for the first time). Luckily their support staff was really helpfully. She asked me the username, the domain etc… Few hours later, I got this domain back…

Anyway!, Happy 2009, Happy Chinese New Year, Happy February -  Month of Loves , Happy WhatEver!..

Wishing my ‘Manglish’* will turn to be proper English this year!

note:
* Manglish (or sometimes Malglish or Mangled English) is the colloquial version of the English language as spoken in Malaysia and it is a portmanteau of the word Malay and English (also possibly Mandarin and English). – Wiki said so.
